Earlier this month we announced our free plugin to integrate with the powerful WordPress form builder Gravity Forms. Today we’re happy to mention another company that specialises in forms (and natively integrates with PayFast): 123FormBuilder.
Web forms are incredibly useful for websites: they are useful when collecting email addresses when you are under development, they are needed for registration, surveys, promotions and could be a great solution if you’re accepting donations or have very specific order form requirements (otherwise, you’re probably better off using a dedicated shopping cart).
123FormBuilder uses a drag-and-drop interface which really simplifies the form creation process (ask anyone who codes these things by hand). They provide a massive collection of existing forms (which you can tweak to your client’s heart’s content) or you can set them up from scratch using the simple or advanced fields.
The forms are by default styled in the same responsive way, but you can customise them to match your site’s branding. Handy extra features are email notifications (to either the website’s manager and/or to the person who just filled out the form), intelligent reporting and yes out-of-the-box PayFast integration.
They’ve got a demo of an online donation form and another one set up by them for a more complex order form. Of course, you can embed the forms into your own web pages or use the tools to add it to specific platforms like Facebook and WordPress.
From our experience (and the limited amount of Internet searches we’ve done) they provide really good support: 24/7 live chat, a support ticketing system and a thorough FAQ/documentation section. They have six different pricing plans: Basic (Free), Individual, Team and Enterprise.
123FormBuilder is well worth checking out if you have forms for donations, payments or registrations on your site. Please note that the PayFast integration with 123FormBuilder was made by them, so please get in touch with them with technical or integration issues.
