Terri Chowles is Content Lead for Payfast by Network and Network International, where she contributes to content strategy, thought leadership and brand storytelling across South Africa, Africa and the Middle East. Since joining Payfast in 2019, she has held roles spanning content, marketing operations and public relations, helping shape communications that make complex payments and fintech topics more accessible and relevant to businesses.

With an international background that includes schooling in Beijing, China and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Sussex in the UK, Terri brings a globally informed perspective to content and communications. Before joining Payfast, she created content for UK and US health-tech organisations and worked as a technical editor for a Swedish technical writing company specialising in telecommunications in Beijing.

Today, Terri collaborates with teams across the region to create content that explores digital payments, ecommerce, financial technology and the trends shaping commerce across Africa and the Middle East. Her work spans thought leadership, SEO content, research reports, customer stories and executive communications, helping businesses navigate an increasingly digital economy.
