Believe it or not, it’s almost that time of year again: Black Friday, and the subsequent start of the festive season. If you’re participating it’s a great way to generate excitement amongst your existing customer base and to attract new visitors to your online store.
In the lead up to the busy period, we asked Siyanda Blouw, our Customer Service Team Lead Assistant, for her top tips on what you can do to prepare for Black Friday and the festive season.
Siyanda’s top tips for a successful Black Friday and festive season:
- Prepare and strategize for incoming traffic, especially if you’re running Black Friday specials, to maintain a good customer service experience.
- Communicate your revised operating times and delivery timescales, especially if you’re closing during the festive season.
- Hire seasonal staff or have all hands on deck to cater for the busy period.
- Communication is key at all times, so keep your customers updated with any changes on your website and social media pages.
