It’s been a big year for eCommerce in South Africa. More and more shops are moving online and an increasing amount of them are exclusively selling online. The eCommerce Awards is a local initiative – currently in its seventh year – to recognise and reward the very best South African eCommerce websites.
With our goal of being an eCommerce enabler, PayFast is fully committed to this initiative as one of the main sponsors and constantly finding new ways to encourage online growth. We want to do our bit by encouraging the public to make use of the ease and convenience of online shopping and show support for the stores that go a little further than the rest of the pack.
Hundreds of stores have been nominated and the public can now vote for their favourite store (until 16 September 2012) and stand a chance of winning a brand new Apple iPad. Voters are encouraged to think about the criteria: ease of use, design and usability, communication, refunds and returns, pricing and payment methods (those who use Payfast offer a lot of payment methods) and more.
