Social buying (or “group buying”) has really taken off in the last two years in South Africa, and for good reason: there is near-instant delivery (via printable vouchers/tickets), it is geographically relevant (discounts “in your area”) and vast discounts are possible because of bulk-purchases… and everyone likes a discount 😉
We’re happy to announce that the developers at CMExtension wrote a Joomla group shopping module called CMGroupBuying. With PayFast integration, your customers can now pay you in South African rand.

To get going on your very own group shopping site, you’ll need to register and verify your PayFast account – you can do so here. After that, you can head over to CMExtension and get the subscription that will suit your needs and they will help you with integration.
