You can now accept online payments with PayFast and Jotform

We’re pleased to announce that you can now integrate your PayFast account with Jotform to easily receive online payments through online forms or online storefronts. What is Jotform?

Jotform is an American-based online form builder that allows anyone to quickly create custom online forms using a simple drag-and-drop builder, meaning that you can create the perfect form for your business needs without any coding experience.

Jotform offers 1,000s of ready-made templates – available in 18 different languages no less, with a variety of customisation options, including different colours schemes and the ability to add your company’s logo and a background image. With Jotform’s user-friendly capabilities you can literally create your form in minutes and then integrate it into your website or as a stand-alone form. 

Over 10 million users around the world, comprising of non-profits, educational institutions, as well as small and large businesses, are using Jotform to go paperless and streamline online data collection and payment collection. With a variety of ecommerce templates to choose from, it’s that much easier for you to start selling products or services online, or to receive online donations for your charity or cause.

What is Jotform Store Builder?

Jotform’s latest product offering, Jotform Store Builder, is an easy-to-use tool that can be used to create an online store with no coding experience. Through the app builder, you can choose from more than 100 different online store templates and use the same drag-and-drop functionality used to make forms to design your online store. 

You can customise your storefront with your brand’s colours and logo, with the option to add a variety of ready-to-use widgets. When ready, you can add your products with pricing, images and descriptions and then publish your store. Once live, you can embed your store into your website, add a QR code to flyers and posters, send links to your store via emails or use the Jotform Shopping Cart plugin to add your store to your WordPress website.  

How much does it cost to use Jotform?

To start using Jotform, you’ll need to sign up with the form-building platform and choose a plan that best suits your business needs. Thankfully they have multiple subscription options to choose from, including a free “Starter” plan which is a great way to test out its functionality. How can you receive online payments through Jotform?

Jotform integrates with a number of different payment gateways from around the world, including PayFast which caters for South African businesses of all sizes wanting to receive payments online.

By choosing PayFast as your Jotform payment solution, you’ll be able to sell products, receive recurring payments (as in subscriptions) and collect donations for your charity or cause. You’ll also be able to offer your customers a variety of different payment methods, including Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards, Scan to Pay options like SnacpScan, Mobicred, SCode, Instant EFT and MoreTyme – TymeBank’s buy now, pay later (BNPL) offering.

How can you integrate PayFast with Jotform?

To set up the Jotform-PayFast integration, you’ll first need to sign up for a free PayFast account, which can be done completely online. Once you upload the required identity documents and your account is verified then you’re good to.

When you sign in to your PayFast account you’ll be taken to your PayFast Dashboard, where you’ll be able to find your PayFast Merchant ID, Merchant Key and Passphrase, which are required to set up the Jotform integration.
