Cracking the Code of Ecommerce with Veldskoen

We’re excited to announce a new webinar series that we’re launching in partnership with uAfrica that will delve into how proudly South African online businesses have gotten to where they are today. As part of the Cracking the Code of Ecommerce series, every two months we’ll sit down with a small local business to find out more about their beginnings, their lessons learnt and what advice they may have for other budding entrepreneurs trying to make it in the exciting ecommerce space.

To kick things off, on Thursday 29 September at 6pm you’re invited to join us for our first virtual event that will feature the founders of none other than the official off-field South African Olympic shoe for 2021, Veldskoen

Veldskoen is a home-grown business that has humble beginnings. Five years ago they began as an online startup that quickly gained a national following due to their colourful reimagining of the iconic South African shoe. They have also made a name for themselves internationally, with the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Matthew McConaughey and Prince Harry having been spotted sporting their own pair of Veldskoens.

During the first Cracking the Code of Ecommerce virtual event, Veldskoen: Going for Gold, we’ll chat to the Veldskoen founders about their inspiration, conception, rapid growth, how they manage their online payments and logistics, as well as their bid to get to the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. We promise that this event is not to be missed, so we encourage you to book your free virtual seat now

We’re delighted to provide you with this great opportunity in partnership with uAfrica to learn more about the fascinating ins and outs of running a successful ecommerce business. We have a number of other inspirational ecommerce thought leaders lined up for our future events, so stay tuned.
