From Corporate to Commerce – the Simply Granola Success Story

Since we initiated our Cracking the Code of Ecommerce web series in partnership with uAfrica in late 2021, we’ve had the privilege of sitting down and chatting virtually with a variety of interesting and inspiring individuals who are making their mark in the South African ecommerce space. For our third instalment of 2022, we’ve managed to keep the momentum going by inviting Nicola Kok, the founder of Simply Granola, to share her story of how she started her online store and has grown it into a profitable and recognisable health food brand.

Come join us online on Wednesday, 22 June 2022 from 6pm to 7:30pm to find out about Nicola’s start in ecommerce after a successful corporate banking career. During the session she’ll touch on the highs, and lows of starting an online business – including navigating the COVID-19 lockdown, and how she put everything on the line for what she is most passionate about.

Nicola started her Simply Granola online store in 2016 to share her love for simple yet tasty, healthy and wholesome breakfast food that would help her customers and their families start their day on the right track. She takes pride in the production process of doing single batch baking and taking all the granolas from production to packaging by hand. Over the years her company has grown to include new products like honey and coffee, as well as expanding her granola product offering, to most recently include a high protein range and a new vegan variant.

Book your virtual spot now for our free webinar to learn about Nicola’s recipe for success and to get the inside scoop on her incredible ecommerce journey. We have a few other inspirational and insightful ecommerce success stories lined up for the rest of the year that could help you learn new tricks of the trade to boost your own online store strategy, so stay tuned.
