We created Cause accounts three years ago to help registered charities, NGOs and many other charitable causes with their fundraising efforts. We provide them with a free webpage, hosted by us, and discounted rates on the donations they receive. It’s our little way of helping out and giving back where we can. We’re still providing this amazing service; it only got a little prettier and more useful.
It’s been a big year for eCommerce in South Africa. More and more shops are moving online and an increasing amount of them are exclusively selling online. The eCommerce Awards is a local initiative – currently in its seventh year – to recognise and reward the very best South African eCommerce websites.
We’re happy to announce that you can now process and purchase mimoney with PayFast. mimoney is a mobile payment method, supported by Standard Bank, which enables you to make online transactions without the need for a debit/credit card or even a bank account.
mimoney has partnered with over 20 big stores (including TAKEALOT, Look & Listen, Incredible Connection and Mr Delivery) which all currently accept the currency. In addition to these, online shoppers can now use this digital currency at the thousands (and counting) of PayFast merchants.
